Lady Arpels Heures Florales | Van Cleef & Arpels
Van Cleef & Arpels has always drawn inspiration from poetry, nature, and movement, but the Lady Arpels Heures Florales takes this philosophy to a whole new dimension. Inspired by Carl von Linné’s concept of a “flower clock,” this creation transforms the dial into a living garden where time blossoms.

Every passing hour is marked not by traditional hands, but by flowers that open and close in a delicate ballet. Twelve blooms, each crafted with miniature painting, sculpted gold, and mother-of-pearl, reveal themselves in shifting sequences throughout the day. The composition never repeats in the same way—making each glance at the dial a moment of discovery.
Behind this poetic vision lies a highly complex movement developed by Valfleurier, equipped with a special module that brings the floral animation to life. Minutes are displayed discreetly in a lateral window on the side of the case, allowing the dial to remain an enchanting canvas of nature in motion.
The 38 mm white-gold case is set with 424 diamonds totaling over five carats, while the floral details themselves are enriched with precious stones and fine marquetry. The watch comes with two interchangeable straps—blue alligator leather or satin—ensuring versatility without compromising elegance.
