Inside Palazzo Fendi Milano | The New Landmark on Via Montenapoleone

Milan’s most famous shopping street has a new destination. Fendi has opened Palazzo Fendi Milano, a four-story flagship that reimagines a 1930s rationalist building as a house of craft, couture, and contemporary culture.

The palazzo, designed by Emilio Lancia in the 1930s, has been restored with a careful balance of preservation and invention. Travertine stone, walnut wood, and soft arches pay homage to Roman heritage, while Milanese rationalism remains intact. It feels like stepping into history — yet one shaped by Fendi’s unmistakable modern eye.

Fendi Atelier

Spread across 910 square meters, the boutique unfolds as a series of experiences: women’s leather goods on the ground floor, menswear and kids upstairs, couture salons, and finally the Fendi Atelier. The atelier offers a rare view of artisans at work, placing the act of making at the center of the flagship experience.

And because no Milan flagship is complete without a culinary chapter, three Langosteria restaurants crown the palazzo, blending fashion and dining into one seamless lifestyle.

The opening also launched “Rock the Craft”, Fendi’s initiative to bring artisans together with contemporary artists. The debut collaboration with Italian artist Edoardo Piermattei transforms architectural forms into leather inlays and a special edition of the Peekaboo bag. It’s a reminder that for Fendi, innovation always begins with the hand.

The timing is deliberate. 2025 marks Fendi’s centenary, and the flagship celebrates the maison’s founders — Adele Casagrande Fendi and her daughters — who established a legacy of female leadership that continues to define the brand today.

With its ateliers, couture salons, and even restaurants, the new palazzo offers a complete immersion into the Fendi world — a Milan address designed to be lived as much as visited.
