Shapes of Extraleganza Collection | Piaget

Piaget’s Shapes of Extraleganza, the second installment in its anniversary trilogy, stands as a bold celebration of form, color, and heritage. Unveiled in 2025, it channels the 1960s–70s energy of the Piaget Society—a creative circle that embraced avant-garde art, design, and freedom of expression. This collection arrives as a contemporary shrine to that legacy, merging daring visual vocabulary with masterful craftsmanship.

Launched during the 2025 couture calendar, the collection premiered in Barcelona to international acclaim. It revived the jet-set glamour of the 1970s, balancing artistry and audacity. Notably, the flagship pieces—Kaleidoscope Lights, Wave Illusion, and Flowing Curves necklaces—each priced at approximately €1 million to €1.13 million, were sold almost immediately.

Wave Illusion necklace from Piaget’s Shapes of Extraleganza collection. A sculptural creation that ripples with kinetic energy, it features a 10.01-carat oval Tanzanian red spinel and a 2.65-carat cushion-cut orange-pink spinel, further enhanced with rubies, spinels, and diamonds.

Shape & Color

Comprising 51 high jewellery pieces and watches, the collection is a visual feast: triangles, circles, zigzags, and waves—each shape entwined with vibrant ornamental stones and bold silhouettes. It is a sophisticated choreography of balance, rhythm, and modernity.

Kaleidoscope Lights

This suite evokes psychedelic sunbursts with Op Art intensity. Ornamental hardstones such as sodalite, jasper, chrysoprase, ruby root, sugilite, and verdite are mosaicked into dramatic striped collars, earrings, rings, and watches—crowned by a 3.01-carat pear-shaped D-IF diamond at the center. A true showcase of Piaget’s artistry, where jewelry and watchmaking meet.

Flowing Curves

Organic, fluid lines embrace rare black Australian opals, their spectral play-of-color set against hand-hammered white gold. The necklace’s undulating textures echo the natural world, while a vivid blue sapphire anchors the composition. The opals shift with the light, harmonizing with the metal’s rhythmic movement.

Wave Illusion

Sculptural necklace that ripples with kinetic energy. It is set with rich Tanzanian spinels, including a 10.01-carat oval red spinel and a 2.65-carat cushion-cut orange-pink spinel, enhanced by additional rubies, spinels, and diamonds.

Diamond Exuberance Suite

The Diamond Exuberance Suite celebrates bold geometry and radiant color contrasts, a tribute to Piaget’s love for sculptural design. At its heart is a striking cocktail ring, centered on a vivid Colombian emerald of exceptional saturation, surrounded by angular motifs of malachite and pavé-set diamonds. Matching earrings echo the same architectural play of lines, framing cushion-cut emeralds within a constellation of diamonds and malachite inlays. The suite embodies the maison’s fearless artistry, where sharp edges meet fluid brilliance, creating high jewelry that dazzles from every angle.

Watchmaking

Piaget’s mastery of horology and jewelry unites seamlessly in the Extraleganza collection through two exceptional timepieces. The Joyful Twirls cuff watch, supple and flexible like silk, transforms gold into a fluid fabric that wraps the wrist with effortless grace. Its surface shimmers with gemstones, while within beats a self-winding ultrathin movement, a hallmark of the maison’s technical excellence. In contrast, the Altiplano Arty Pop watch offers a striking explosion of geometry and color. Set with emeralds, malachite, and diamonds, its kinetic design radiates bold modernity, powered by an ultrathin hand-wound movement.

The exploration of motion extends further into a kinetic table clock, created in collaboration with artist Alex Palenski, transforming time into a sculptural expression of art. Together, these creations embody Piaget’s dual artistry of high watchmaking and high jewelry.

Feathered Masterpiece

In collaboration with feather-marquetry artist Nelly Saunier, Piaget reimagines the iconic Yves Piaget Rose in an astonishingly delicate medium. This transformable asymmetrical cuff is crafted from hand-selected goose feathers shaped with poetic precision to replicate the rose’s frilled silhouette in soft, living color. The petals shimmer with 261 snow-set diamonds, each one snow-set to evoke dewy luminosity. At the floral heart lies a vibrant reddish-pink spinel from Tanzania, anchoring the organic design with refined brilliance. Ingeniously engineered, the rose detaches to become a brooch—an emblem of Piaget’s blend of artistry, innovation, and emotional poetry.

In Shapes of Extraleganza, Piaget translates 150 years of mastery into creations that resonate with collectors of true distinction.
